Opening December 6 at 4:00 PM. Colors have power and force both individually and in combination; everything depends on the composition and harmony. Bright and dull, intense and subdued, the choice between opposites is always different. Alone harmonious and restrained, sometimes everything together turns into a real extravaganza!

Similarly, with the authors participating in the exhibition – the joint exhibition reveals the contrast and strength of being side by side. The Estonian Textile Artists Association unites artists with very different authorial positions and creative signatures, whose works centrally feature textile as a material.

The annual exhibition of the Estonian Textile Artists Association, which has become a tradition, is a highly anticipated event for both participants and the audience. This year's exhibition at the Museum of New Art also highlights the recipients of the annual awards - the laureate for the Textile Artist of the Year 2023 is Aet Ollisaar, the Young Textile Artist of the Year 2023 is Maria Kristiin Peterson. The Award for Textile Act of the Year 2023 was given to Maryliis Teinfeldt-Grins for the community project "Who Remembers Last? Who Remembers Better?" and the jury's special prize for long-standing and consistent research and development in textile art was awarded to Kadi Pajupuu.
